On his second day in office, Wednesday, July 2, 2025, Macon County’s new Superintendent, Dr. Johnathan B. Roberts, Jr., attended the monthly meeting of the Macon County Law Enforcement Advisory Council. The council meets on the first Wednesday of each month and brings together leaders from across the county to collaborate on matters impacting public safety and community well-being.
Dr. Roberts expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome and looks forward to building strong partnerships with local officials, law enforcement agencies, and community leaders. He shared his enthusiasm for working together to support the safety, success, and development of Macon County’s students and families.
The Macon County School System is excited about the opportunities this collaboration will bring under Dr. Roberts’ leadership.
