Superintendent's Message

SuperToday’s public school students are in need of the best education that we can provide for them, especially as we witness the massive changes in our world’s workforce. More importantly, Georgia’s economy is changing and growing. Therefore, students need to be prepared to take on the careers in Georgia and the global workforce.

Our students will need more than a high school education. For this reason,  we are committed to empowering, supporting, and inspiring all students to achieve their full potential. Our faculty and staff work hard to provide a nurturing environment, as well as, a rigorous and challenging curriculum in order to prepare our students for the world after high school. Nothing is more important to us than the communication and relationship we have among the parents, community, and the school. This is one of our non-negotiables.

I am honored to serve as the Superintendent of Schools in Macon County. I appreciate the students, staff, and community for creating a positive environment, which holds great promise for the future. As an educational system, we will continue to strive for academic excellence and fiscal responsibility. In closing, I thank the entire community for continuing to work on behalf of our children.
