In March of 2021, the federal government approved the Elementary and Secondary Schools Emergency Relief (ESSER) funding to help our schools overcome and remove barriers in learning created by the Covid-19 pandemic. ARP ESSER, or the American Rescue Plan, is specifically designed to support our students and their post-pandemic learning needs, with an emphasis on equity, future-readiness, family, community, partnerships and cultural responsiveness. We are calling this initiative “Maximizing Student Success”. With these funds, we have an opportunity to invest in initiatives that support our mission to create supportive learning environments that will inspire, empower, and nurture students to become productive, college and career-ready citizens.
