Eugene Felton is a native of Marshallville, Georgia and attended the public schools of Macon County--graduating from D. F. Douglass High School.  He attended Macon Technical School (electronic), Macon, Georgia; attended Fort Valley State University for one year; and completed the three-year Electronic Apprenticeship Program at Robins Air Force Base.

Felton is a proud U. S. Army veteran and served a tour of duty in Vietnam.  He retired from Robins Air Force Base as a System Manager in Electronic Warfare after thirty-nine years of service.

He is married to the former Adeline Rumph and they are the proud parents of two sons, Attorney Eugene Felton, Jr. (Dr. Emily Felton) and Major Cedric L. Felton (Angela Felton) and four precious grandchildren.  He is an active member of Saint James Christian Methodist Episcopal (CME) Church in Marshallville.  He is currently serving as the Fort Valley-Savannah District Lay Leader for the Central Georgia Region of the CME Church.  In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, reading, fishing, and traveling.
